Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul
The Ronald McDonald Family Room® at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul provides a home-like setting for families to rejuvenate, while still staying just steps away from a child who is receiving medical treatment for a serious condition or disability.
Any family with an in-patient child at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare is eligible to use the Ronald McDonald Family Room®. Like the Ronald McDonald House – Chicago Avenue (Children's Hospital of Minneapolis), this program has no geographic requirement and we proudly serve local Twin Cities area families.
The facility provides private rooms and bathrooms (assigned by the Gillette social worker staff) for four families each night while their children are receiving in-patient care. Whether staying overnight or not, any eligible family may take advantage of a lounge, kitchen and laundry facilities during the hours of 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
